Current Accomplishments for Building the School in Rural Uganda
Our Legacy Owners: Â Obadiah and Joyce Kagino
Obadiah and Joyce Kagino were long time residents of Kamonkoli Uganda. Â Obadiah was born and raised in Kamonkoli. Â

Obadiah worked in the foreign services of Uganda for many years.  While alive, Obadiah and Joyce built a church, a clinic, founded a Woman’s Association, and installed electricity, water, phone systems, and a post office in the village.  They also personally educated many children whose parents could not afford the tuition.Â

The Kagino’s understood the issues of poverty and education in their village. Â

In memory of their late father and mother and in their fulfillment  of their wish to give back to the community by the way of education, they bequeathed part of their estate in Kamonkoli Town Council, Budaka District, in Uganda.  This land was to be used for the construction of a school.
The Bequeathed Land
The following was in the last will and testament: Â The plot behind the main house west direction after Iki - Iki Ginnery power lines is to be used for school projects. Â The below are photos of the land parcel.
The School Architecture
In late 2024, the Kagino Legacy Board of Directors commissioned the school architecture along with Bill of Material and labor costs.. Â The below are the diagrams from the architecture.
Visit to the Bequeather Land in Uganda
In early February 2026, the Kagino Legacy Board of Directors along with church partners visited the site where the school is to be constructed in Kamonkoli, Uganda.
